Apartment hunting and furniture shopping aren't easy, and this summer heat is definitely not helping. After long days of searching for and touring apartments, we have found the perfect space and sealed the deal! Wearing a minimal basic outfit makes running in and out of furniture stores (aka in AC and out into the oven) a whole lot easier. Here's one of the casual outfits I’ve been sporting lately; a lightweight tee and a pair of denim shorts that hug you in all the right places.
Fun Fact: I found this t-shirt in the men’s section at H&M, thought it was hilarious (and relatable…ehem), and got it in the smallest size they had! So never limit yourself and explore men’s department, sometimes!
Now, for the most important question of the day:
Do you have Nomophobia?
During our apartment hunt, the GPS on my phone was my best friend. And I remember my mom telling me about how she used to use huge books of maps to find a single location here in LA years ago, and now we have GPS, which is so much faster (instantaneous, really). Have we become completely dependent on technology? I mean if you think about it, when was the last time you had a question and researched for the answer? And by research, I don’t mean using your phone, laptop, Google, Siri, etc. I know I can’t remember! Technology made life easier, but is it really better? What do you think?
